The Advanced Driving Skills schools is a great way to explore the performance capabilities of your car and learn valuable skills that are useful on the track and street. Here are the things you need to do, in order to attend the school.

Your Vehicle

  • Seat belts are mandatory and must be securely anchored.
  • Be sure to clear out all loose items from the interior of the vehicle, before the pre-event technical spot check.
  • Must be suitable for aggressive maneuvers. That includes all street legal passenger cars. Race prepared cars, trucks, SUVs, and other tall or high center of gravity vehicles will be permitted at the discretion of the event chairperson.
  • If you are taking the ADS school as part of preparation for an upcoming High Performance Driving school, bring your completed Tech Inspection Form so that we can pre-check your car.

You

  • Must have a valid current license. If you are under 18 years old, your parent or gaurdian must be present to sign waiver forms allowing you entry to NHMS and participation in the event.
  • Are solely responsible for insuring that your vehicle is safe, before you come to the track.
  • Will be required to sign a NHMS Insurance waiver at the entrance to the track (for NHMS) and at the event (for White Mountain Chapter).The form is included here, for your reference.
  • Should read the Driving School Curriculum, prior to attending the event.
  • Must attend the classroom portion of the school. Failure to do so will preclude you from participating in the driving portion of the school.
